Film Magik ("we", "us") is operated by Araf Studio. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Film Magik, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo, and we store them together with your user ID and last login time.
- Referral status: if you enter a referral code we store that you redeemed it (ad-free status).
- On your device: we save small items in your browser storage, such as whether you are ad-free and the day you last watched the intro, so the site works as expected.
- Technical data: our hosting and analytics providers may automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account working.
- To show or remove ads based on your referral status.
- To keep the site secure, fix problems and understand how it is used.
- To reply when you contact support.
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising
Film Magik shows ads from third-party networks (currently Adsterra). These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, and may collect information such as your IP address and device details under their own privacy policies. Ads may open in a new tab or window. Users who redeem a valid referral code do not see ads.
Third-party services
We rely on Google Firebase (sign-in, database and analytics), Cloudflare (hosting), and third-party video players embedded in our pages. These services process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not host the video content of embedded players.
Data retention and your choices
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. You can also clear your browser storage and cookies, or use your browser settings to limit ad tracking.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
Children
Film Magik is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
